2019-10-16 And now it's about time to introduce a new family member of our pack of dogs. A wonderful dog he is! Dutch Junior Champion Jaklho You're My Spirit (Kuromitsumaru Go Hokuto Hanatsukisou "Mickey" x Ch. Jaklho I'll Never Find Another You "Kizzy"), who fully lives up to this name, but also his call name, "Zen". Zen is owned by Kyra and Arno de Groot from Lienden. In 2018 he easily gained his junior championship title and at the Int. Zwolle Dogshow under judge, Zeferino José Cardoso Silva from Portugal. he won Best Of Breed. His four-legged k9 family members are the sweetest dog in the world: Bernese Mountain Dog, Rosé and Shiba girl, Sambal. The last one will be introduced at a later time, together with sister-sweet Ami.

2016-09-05 Great news from Belgium. Marilyne and Frédérick received Kitai's, who is: "Jaklho Walk With Me" certificate for his Dutch Championship title. So, again a new champion.
2016-06-22 I thought it was about time to "revive" the veterans page, by many of you much appreciated. Some rules have changed and with this, I hope that those beautiful oldies can be admired on this page for a very long time.

2015-08-04 To begin with: in January we went to the Flint in Amersfoort to "Dog of the Year-Show", to show both Ch. Jaklho Keep A Dream In Your Pocket "Keeper" and Ch. Jaklho Keep A Song In Your Heart "Guy". Both had qualified in the year 2014 and it's a huge honor to be invited with a dog for this presticious show, let alone with two dogs. And also breeder/owner!

On March 20, Sutamuroku Naomi "Naomi" gave birth to two male puppies: Jaklho A World Of Our Own "Kinu", living in Alblasserdam with Nicolette, Erwin, Vica and Siva and Jaklho Puff The Magic Dragon "Yuki", living close by in Dordrecht with Lavinia, Jasper, Cheyenne and Keoni.

In May I showed Ch. Jaklho Keep A Song In Your Heart "Guy" in Dortmund (Int. Show) and he won CAC-CACIB and BOB under judge, Mrs. G. Kastl from Germany. In Genk, Belgium, I showed Ch. Jaklho Keep A Song In Your Heart "Guy" under Mrs. E. Weijenborg from Holland and again he won CAC-CACIB. This was the third country to win CACIB, resulting in... a new championship title. On May 18, Jaklho I'll Never Find Another You "Kizzy" gave birth to 3 puppies, 1 male and 2 females. The male, Jaklho Calling Me Home "Sumo" went to Kirsten and John Hansen (Alina's Shibas) in Denmark, a female, Jaklho Chase A Rainbow "Cheisou" lives with Lynn Perkins (Foxtail Shibas) in the USA and the other female, Jaklho This Little Light Of Mine "Naomi" found her new mom and dad in Wally and Dominique Vansloen (Kerselereke Shibas) from Belgium.
2015-08-04 It definitely has been too long, since the website got an update. Is Facebook to blame? Well, maybe. But I don't like it at all that my website has been neglected and I will try to bring this site more often news or any other update, as I was used to doing in the past.

2013-09-11 For the last 5 months I have neglected the website and I am going to try to make it up. A lot of things happened in these months. Beautiful, nice and interesting cases happened, such as good show news, new (championship) titles, a fantastic litter for Avalon (her last litter), both Keeper and Guy became daddy of some very nice puppies and last but not least a new addition to our Shiba family.
Let me begin with show news. Some very nice results have been achieved by our dogs and there are new titles for Keeper and Guy. On June 17, Avalon gave birth to 5 puppies; 2 males and 3 females: a litter a breeder can only dream of.  From these 3 females 1  girl stayed with us, as you can see on the "our dogs" page. We wish Kizzy's siblings, in the Netherlands, Belgium and Russia, a healthy, happy and long life with their new owners and doggy-friends.

2010-08-08 The last few months there hasn't been  much "activity" on the website. I hope to change this by updating several pages in the next days/weeks. I haven't done any shows myself with my dogs, but Shogun (Bea and Freddy Dhondt) did a fantastic job at several shows in Europe. Unfortunately I had to add some Shibas to the rainbow-page. And I will change some of the pedigree photos. Avalon has been mated to the beautiful male: "Ch. We-sedso Go Nippo", by Jytte Röschke. Hopefully, soon I can tell more about this on the puppy-page.

The year 2009 is almost at it's end and it hasn't been an easy year.  The surgeries at my back have made me realize that walking for me will never be the same as for 2 years ago. Nevertheless I am so grateful  being able to walk, whatsoever. The purpose of the last surgery was to keep me away from sitting in a wheelchair, what would have been the case if this surgery didn't happen it failed. Anyway..., I am a happy man!
During the medical rehabilitation there was one goal I was focussed on: I wanted to return with  mu dogs in the show ring.... And I managed. By far the handling was not as I was used to, but "with blood, sweat and tears"  we did it.  And that is my victory for the year 2009.
Meanwhile, Jaklho Sir Tristan "Shogun" continued achieving nice results at dog shows in Europe. Read more about this at "shows 2009"
And then there was "Brussel's Dog Show", the last show in this year. Mrs. Liz Dunhill, well-known under Shiba people as breeder and handler of her "Vormund"-Shibas , judged. For this too, read about it on "shows 2009"

To begin with some show news. In May, Jaklho Sir Tristan "Shogun" won 2 days in a row CAC and CACIB.  First, on the 16th, in St. Gall, Switzerland, under judge Mrs Maya Delaquis and the day after, under judge Mr Claude Voilet, in Namur, Belgium
During the summer some new dogs entered the Veterans page which, unfortunately, almost automatically means, that some Shibas made their appearance on the Rainbow-Bridge page.
Another new face, being a new member of the family, can be found on the "Our Dogs" page, under "Family". Tiny and Albert Hensema ("of the Willow Tay" Shibas) are very proud to show you their own bred Raiden of the Willow Tay, call name "Raiko". What a beautiful, stunning young male he is. Later this summer he will make his first appearance in the show ring. Wishing Tiny and Albert lots of luck with him!

More good news comes from America. The female  Jaklho No Akatsukihime Go "Suki" and by some still known as "The Princess", owned by Gladys Mueller,  is doing a great job at the shows. 2008-08-26 Yesterday, late in the evening, very sad news reached us that Jaklho Sire Seiryu's Son "Lucky", out of Amity by Sumo, had escaped from the back yard and was hit by a car. He did not survive this accident.  Our thoughts are with Lucky's owners, John and Kirsten Hansen from Denmark.
2008-08-25 August 21 was such a sad day. We had to say goodbye to Hoshi-Boshi and Banjer. On the Rainbow-Bridge page a tribute of them can be found.
